When hurricanes make landfall they can affect the lives of thousands of Texans along the coast and across the state. Below are links to important resources to help you prepare for hurricane season including information on weather, evacuations, road conditions and overall hurricane preparedness.

The state of Texas has several excellent websites with information on issues that Texans will face in the event of a hurricane which are listed below. Those sites will teach you how to develop a disaster plan, make a survival kit, find the best evacuation routes and ensure the safety for your pets and your family.
