District 32

General Information

District 32 is made up of Aransas, Calhoun and San Patricio County and part of Nueces County. There were 145,423 people in the district in the 2002 census, with 113,867 living in towns and cities and 31,474 living in rural areas of the district. Republicans carried every major federal and statewide race in the district in the 2006 election.
